Hope your week treated you well. We had a 2 part blizzard on my birthday this week. With a winter birthday you get used to snow days which is always a plus when you’re in school!
So we put on our cozies and caught up on DVR’d shows. Had our fill of comfort food too. I had made an awesome beef stew and there was friendship bread that my mom and I made a couple days prior.
Big weekend plans for you? I hear there’s some big game this weekend. 😉 In the meantime here are my favorites this week.
I’m not usually into color cabinets but this feels right. It still evokes cleanliness in this kitchen especially when paired with stainless appliances. The white apron front sink and counters help too.
This bath has a classy elegance to it. The brass handles on the midcentury cabinet are perfectly retro. The marble tile and counter make it feel fancy but not too much.
I’m a sucker for a well made staircase and this one got me! I like the way it winds with the landings every few stairs initially. The stair balusters have a regal feel to them yet the space feels very homey.
The wood chosen for this plank wall is the right amount of rustic I think. The way it is framed off instead of running the entire wall is a good look. It fits in well with the modern pieces in the space too.
And for the bonus I have for a travel tip. I’m in travel mode now with just returning from one trip and having another coming up in a couple weeks. One of the things I hate about flying is not being able to get my ears to pop. Here’s a great article about what to and not to do.
